Another Vancouver Island original! For this Fleur de Sel bar, international award-winning bean-to-bar chocolate maker, Sirene Chocolate, works with Semuliki cacao growers in Bundibugyo, Uganda. This intense dark chocolate with a rich fudge flavour makes a natural pairing with Vancouver Island Sea Salt.
Sirene Artisan Chocolate Makers has been winning awards every year since 2015 from The Academy of Chocolate Awards and the International Chocolate Awards in recognition of its beautifully crafted, ethically sourced, single origin chocolate bars.
Its founder, Taylor Kennedy, says, " Making chocolate is really a team effort between the farms and the maker, and the awards for me are an extra thank you for the collaboration."
